Konecta Foundation funds 12 inspiring social projects!
Konecta Foundation unveils the 12 winning projects of its 14th annual Internal Call for Social Projects, an annual program that empowers Konecta employees to drive positive change.
This year, we received a large number of high-quality proposals from passionate colleagues across our 26 countries, all eager to support their local communities. Twelve charitable projects have been carefully selected to receive €5,000 each, totalling €60,000 in funding for 2025.
The evaluation process for winning projects uses a structured approach to ensure transparency and impact. First, legal and eligibility requirements are verified, followed by a review of project alignment with initiative objectives, including social and labor inclusion, education, and societal well-being in Konecta’s operating countries. Finally, eligible projects are scored based on impact, feasibility, organizational strength, employee engagement, visibility, volunteering opportunities, and environmental benefit, with the highest-scoring projects advancing as finalists.
Since 2009, this initiative has provided over €370,000 to 66 social organizations worldwide, focusing on crucial areas like education, health, and social integration. This year’s selected projects are no exception, tackling vital issues from providing therapy for children with rare diseases to empowering women through employment and education.
“This annual initiative demonstrates the Konecta Foundation’s strong commitment to social and community development, as well as employee engagement. By supporting these projects, we enable Konecta employees to actively contribute to causes they care about, creating a direct and meaningful impact in their areas. We are inspired by their dedication to driving real change, and we look forward to seeing the outcomes of these initiatives in the coming year.” – highlights Graciela de la Morena Carra, Konecta Foundation Director.
