COMMITTED TO SOCIETY

Konecta created the Konecta Foundation in 2005 with the aim of channelling the company’s social action, applying its business resources to social causes and generating alliances in order to create a multiplier effect for the initiatives undertaken. . Throughout its history, the Foundation has invested more than 16.7 million euros to benefit almost 216,000 people. It has enabled the integration into the labour market of more than 15,000 people at risk of exclusion, including women who have suffered gender-based violence, victims of terrorism, people with disabilities and people over 55 years of age.

To support social development and the development of Konecta, through innovative projects related to the activity and environment of the company, using the company’s business resources and working in collaboration with other organisations.

To be a benchmark in the social and labour-market integration of people at risk of exclusion and to drive the social commitment of other companies, thereby generating a multiplier effect.

OUR GOALS

The Foundation aims to achieve the following goals, which are of general interest:

To support social and labour-market insertion for groups of people at particular risk of exclusion and people with special difficulties.

To support social innovation, research and entrepreneurial culture, as well as raising awareness to eliminate architectural, technological and psychological barriers to facilitate the full inclusion of people with functional diversity.

To promote and develop educational, social, artistic and cultural projects and activities to support vulnerable groups and small social organisations.
