V Awareness and Sustainability Meetings

Since 2021, Diario ABC and Konecta Foundation have joined forces annually to celebrate this congress, a reference at the national level, which has a space dedicated to debate and reflection to disseminate the business initiatives that are being developed to achieve the Sustainable Development objectives. . of the 2030 Agenda.

ln this occasion, and under the title “360º Vision of Sustainability: pills of good practices”, various innovative business initiatives with social and environmental impact were announced. Many of them are joint, seek to promote a multiplier effect and are aligned with the 2030 Agenda of the UN Global Compact.
The opening was carried out by Ignacio Ybarra, President of Vocento, José María Pacheco, President of Konecta, and Rocío Blanco, Minister of Employment, Business and Self-Employment of the Government of Andalusia. Fundación MAPFRE, Fundación AltamarCAM, Reale Seguros, AGBAR and Konecta participated in the part dedicated to companies with social initiatives, while Cepsa, Endesa, Fundación AON España, ISDIN and the Spanish Association of Foundations participated in the environmental impact.
In closing, we were able to learn about the work of the Fundación Acción por la Música and Fundación Alalá, with their inclusion projects through music, which delighted us with a musical performance.
